Wesley Telep
Wesley was born on March 14, 2025. He is a bright, social little boy who wins over everyone he meets. He knows exactly what he likes and finds comfort in music and his stuffed animals.
During pregnancy, his parents Hannah and Jon learned that Wesley had a Shone’s Variant, a complex congenital heart defect affecting the left side of his heart. After three open heart surgeries in an attempt to fix his native heart, it was determined that Wesley recently met requirements to finally be put on the heart transplant list! He will remain inpatient in the PCICU while he waits.
Every day Hannah and Jon work to create as much normalcy as possible within the hospital walls, giving Wesley the chance to learn, grow and experience the family connection offered to any child. Wesley shows incredible determination and works hard every day in therapies. He is a fighter, and his parents hope that he can soon be more than his medical journey.
